TORCAD can now provide organic, non-conductive coatings for identification or extended corrosion resistance. By using а specially designed "dip and spin" machine, thin, even, homogeneous organic coatings (paints, lacquers, waxes, oils, etc.) are applied to small items.

The barrier protection afforded by the process is resistant to chipping and abrasion. The coating is non- conductive and therefore its rate of corrosion is not affected by the electrical potential difference in the fastener and base metals.

FLUOROCARBON type corrosion protective coatings to GM 6046-М and equivalents for friction reduction and wear resistance are also available.
